Why I'm excited:

1. I love Heidi Heilig and I want to support everything she does, because she is a must needed advocate in the YA world today.

2. I LOVED The Girl From Everywhere! I thought it was thrilling, the romance was perfect, and Nix was such a Badass. I cannot wait to see where this story goes!

3. THAT COVER. It's glorious. I love the swoopiness. I love our lovely ship!

4. Time travel!!! I love how intricate the time travel is in this series!!!!

5. I mean, cmon, it's gonna be great!!!

6. I've also heard that the opening lines are killer! SO READY

My initial thoughts will forever stand: I laughed so hard when I initially read this synopsis because like, how in the world do 23 people die in order for her to become queen? LOLOLOL

Anyways, I am super excited and I have never read anything by this author but I am very excited to make this my first!

I don't think I can even put into words how excited I am for this book. Champion was my favorite of the Legend Trilogy... and I am expecting this to be my favorite of this trilogy. Something about the way Lu writes conclusions speaks to me! :)

This week I have chosen the highly anticipated (by all) Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo!!!

Not only did the first book hold some of my highest ranking OTPs. The suspenseful writing and gripping action topped off with complex immoral characters brings together a beautiful beginning to what will soon become my favorite duology.

3. I'm hoping for some more (I actually don't know the ship names yet?) but more of all of it. Every one of them. Have funnn. Because I love you.

4. Kaz is badass. Inej is even more badass. Nina is heart wrenching *badoom tssss*. Matthias is freaking wonderful. I love Wylan's "innocence." I love Jesper's freaking everything. I adore every freaking character soooo damn much.

2. I haven't actually read Romeo and Juliet but I am a sucker for retellings of the story. I hope this twists it on its head.

3. MAGIC.

4. The cover reminds me of a cult/secret society and I actually adore plots that include that aspect especially when they do it creepily and well written. I've heard good things about Hodge's other works. I have not yet read any of it.

5. I cannot pronounce these names whatsoever but I honestly do not care. I am excited!

1. This book first caught my attention when Adam Silvera posted that he wanted this book so badly that he would burst into flames to get it (or something along those lines) and so I was curious... and then I laughed when I read the synopsis and saw what this beauty was going to be about!

8. Also, Jessica Cluess is so sweet. I have interacted with her on twitter a few times and it makes me THAT much more excited to read the book! (Which by the time this has posted I will have most likely read this! A review should be going up soon!)

This week my pick is a debut novel entitled The Reader (Sea of Ink And Gold #1) by Traci Chee

This books title and gorgeous cover were the first things that drew me to it. And then I read the synopsis and KNEW I NEEDED this book!

5. This sounds so magical and Sefia sounds badass as hell (once she finds her footing, I believe. Because I could see her being weak at the beginning and growing into her badassery.)

Waiting on Wednesday #7

My pick for this week is Enter Title Here by Rahul Kanakia!

This is my top anticipated contemporary debut of the year and if you know anything about this book, you know why. It's so damn intriguing...

1. I want to learn about Reshma. I have heard she is not likable which I am totally ready for in a MC.

2. A literary agent. Publishing. I'm curious. I need to know more.

3. I love that she is in control (or is she?) of her own destiny. There are so many ways it can go wrong and I am so damn excited about that!

4. Perfectionism is so damn relatable. Can I get a HELL YEAH?
